Foot Pilgrims from Lira Diocese who are on their way to Uganda Martyrs Namugongo, are set to make a third stop over at Kigumba, after three days of trekking.

The more than 700 faithfuls spent Wednesday night at St. Mary’s Parish Diima and are scheduled to rest for two days till Saturday at Kigumba Catholic Parish in Kiryandongo District.

At the time of filing the story, Lira Diocese foot pilgrims were taking a rest at Kiryandongo Town Council.

The pilgrims are expected to reach Namugongo Martyrs’ shrine on the 28th May 2019 to attend the celebration which attracts different people from different parts of the world on 3rd June.
